Chalet thoughts - Paint Job - Personality Test

Know what? The chalet is finally over. After all that crazy preparation, I'm so glad it's finally over. However, there's still the 4r3 chalet. Thankfully, I'm not co-organizer for that, so it should be much more relaxing. I did pledge my help to Leechuang though, but I'm not the only one :D Yeeling (I think) pledged her help too~. There's not much to complain about, but I still feel like doing it.

Well, you guys probably know that before, I was kinda ... weird about talking to guys. Hey, I live with a bunch of sisters and no brothers at all, OK? Anyway, after all that organizing with Kinseng and BBQ-ing with Chan Kai, I think I'm pretty alright. Should be able to be nicer to guys in JC. (Hey, the 'what the hell do you want' response to guys is a reflex. It's my fault to a small extent :P)

I thought I sort of bonded more with the girls, though with some maybe not. This time, Grace spent a lot more time with us, so I won't be so wary of approaching her next time. Oh well, I think I'll still wave when Beecheng waves. (This is because usually the people she waves at waves back. So it's not so embarassing... -.-) I have no idea why I'm saying so much when I know people are reading. -- Nevermind. Continue.

Well, we finally gave manda her present. :D Hey, it's so your fault you got it late~~. That's because you wouldn't come out on your birthday. :D (It fell on the second day of the Anime Convention I went to.) ERM, I think she didn't really like the figurine, but the cup should be fine. I still think we should have gotten the sake cups. Ah well, next year. :D I'm so sorry, on behalf of the annoying person who broke your cover... If you need a new one, please tell me.

Theresa was pretty.. interesting, frustrating, and a total lifesaver. I told her, I wasn't planning much activities for the chalet because I knew people would be doing their own thing anyway, and maybe ''ordering'' me about for stuff. I was right too. (Kinseng needed my help.) Theresa also ok, ahem, asked me a lot about the BBQ stuff. Well, she was kinda directing everything at one point before the chalet, changing our plans and everything, you know? It was very interesting and amusing to see her take charge after she assured me that nobody was gonna order me around. I don't mind, it gave me a break. That was one of the major points why I think the chalet went so smoothly this time, all the food and equipment that Theresa brought (Her mum made it. I'm so grateful!). MAN, you should have seen all that FOOD she brought! (OK, most of you already did.) I think for the BBQ, everyone pretty much enjoyed themselves. Hmm, seems like ChanKai, Kinseng and I have pretty good teamwork. :D Thanks for saving food for us, guys. :D The prawns were really nice :D

There wasn't any major bonding this time for me, except maybe the guys. I'm regretful that I didn't even try with some of the girls, but I really didn't want to. I don't want to say why.

OK, -.- I'm really pissed with the comment that me and Kinseng were like a couple. -.- First of all, he's got a girlfriend. If you don't know who, don't come asking me. -.- Second of all, I think of him as a friend. -.- Third of all, after all that organizing online, you think we wouldn't know what to get, what to plan and what to buy?-.- It was pretty much all planned online already. -.- I don't want to hear anymore of this. Don't make me pissed off.

And what's more, he smsed me to say, if I'm willing to organize next year's chalet, he'll sponsor next year's. -.- I don't want to organize anymore. Can't you guys try it? I'll help out, but I don't want to do it.

If you guys were wondering what was up with me at BK on the third day, it was because I was really too tired. -.- I actually nodded off twice in the five minutes while I was waiting for you guys to finish.. Yep, and went home and slept for 5 solid hours. No dreams at all. Just black unconsciousness. I think it was Beecheng who noticed I was nodding off already. Because she told me to go home without waiting for you guys. But regardless of who it was, thanks.

Well, the paint job I mentioned in TG's blog has started! I'm re-painting the house, with lots of help from dad and second sis, so it's been going on pretty alright. Our bedroom's now sky blue. Geraldine would love it. It's really a wonderful blue. I like to think of it as our own patch of sky. My mom's bedroom, on the other hand, is yellow. Like the sun. It's supposed to be her lucky colour for next year, so we want everything to be just so successful. However, what with the bright colours, it's starting to look a little like a kindergarten. -.- Oh well, tomorrow we're gonna continue again. Wonder how it'll turn out? Hey, we're still going to go on the CNY walkabout again, right? :D HEHE. Can't promise anything though.

I took the personality test, since I was curious about what it would say about me... and the result is as follows. The ones that're emphasized are the bits I feel are true.

Groundbreaking Thinker Groundbreaking Thinker (GT)

Groundbreaking Thinkers are charming, enthusiastic persons. They really bubble over with energy and like to take centre stage. They love variety both professionally and privately.

Groundbreaking Thinkers tackle changes consistently with their optimism and firm belief in their own abilities; they are always on the look-out for improvement possibilities. Their excellent communication skills are of great advantage to them here. They approach the world with curiosity and openness and master new situations with a great deal of talent for improvising and with resourcefulness. Their spare time is taken up with a large number of hobbies; most Groundbreaking Thinkers like to travel in order to gather as many different impressions as possible. This personality type is unbeatable at discovering new possibilities.

In their work, Groundbreaking Thinkers highly rate challenges and diversified tasks. They cannot stand routine and too detailed work. They love to astound others with bold ideas for an original, new project and then leave it up to the others to implement them. Hierarchies, rules and regulations arouse their opposition and they love outsmarting the system. It is vital to them that they enjoy their work; if this is the case, they quickly become pure workaholics. Their creativity best takes effect when they work independently; but they are very good at motivating others and infecting them with their optimistic nature. Conceptual or advisory activities appeal especially to Groundbreaking Thinkers. It can happen that some people feel somewhat duped by their flexible, spontaneous nature.

Their sociability and enterprise ensure that Groundbreaking Thinkers always have a large circle of friends and acquaintances in which activity plays an important role. As they are mostly in a good mood, they are popular and very welcome guests. Grumbling and peevishness are unknown to them. However, they do tend to be a little erratic and unstable when it comes to obligations and this makes them appear to be unreliable to some. Groundbreaking Thinkers are very critical and demanding when it comes to picking a partner because they look for the ideal relationship and have a very concrete picture of this ideal relationship. Mutual aims in life are very important to them. They do not like compromising and would rather remain alone. For the partner, it is often a challenge to have a long-term relationship with a Groundbreaking Thinker. Groundbreaking Thinkers need a lot of space and diversity or otherwise they become bored and feel cramped. Types who are rather more traditionalistic often have problems with the willingness of Groundbreaking Thinkers to take risks and their often crazy, spontaneous actions. However, if one can summon up sufficient flexibility and tolerance for them, one will never be bored in their presence and will always have a loyal and faithful partner.
